God's Love

God loves us in spite of our imperfections, quirks and idiosyncrasies. He is not surprised by our limitations, faults, issues, or weaknesses—he knew this before you were born and he still is madly in love with you. He still loves us at our worst. He sees us as ‘his darling babies’ even when we wake up in the morning looking all wild and when we go to bed. In Romans 8:39, Paul declares that nothing shall separate us from the love of God. Moreover, God calls us his “beloved,” one who is dear to his heart, his pride and joy or his delight. The New Living Translation Bible
consistently in the Psalms talks about this “unfailing love.”

However, the Devil tries to get us caught up in believing that God’s love is based on our performance. The Devil attempts to remind you in the morning all the wrong things that you did before and why you are not deserving of God’s promises. Our Bible clearly tells us that Jesus paid for all our sins—past, present and future. All we have to do is repent and receive his grace for our weaknesses.

The Devil knows that if you believe God’s love then you will never have a problem receiving God’s Best, living in your covenant rights as a believer, enjoying the Good Life, helping to push other believers into wholeness and showing sinners God’s love. He is so envious of God’s love for humankind and the fact that we have a Father.

God expresses his deep love for us. In The Message translation, Psalm 136:26-29, God remembered us when we were down, His love never quits. Rescued us from the trampling boot, His love never quits. Takes care of everyone in time of need. His love never quits. Thank God, who did it all! His love never quits! His love his demonstrated by the blood shed on the cross and putting our sins, the curses along with sins, and sicknesses on His own son. Your valuable is not based on your profession, educational background, financial status, materials, beauty, IQ or societal factors. Your value is not in what you do but is wrapped up in the Cross.

Therefore, you have to change your attitude about yourself. If you have a negative or low view of yourself then you hinder yourself from completely receiving everything that God has for you. You should berate yourself when you make a mistake: “I am undisciplined. I am not attractive. I always mess up. I will never get through. I messed up today and things will never change. I don’t have what it takes.” All this negative talk is not even Scriptural. God SAYS WE ARE fearfully and wonderfully made (“I am beautiful. I was hand-crafted by the Best In the Universe”), more than conquerors (“I am so weak”), royalty (“I shouldn’t view myself negatively), special treasure(“I will never be anything or do anything—this is it), show forth his praise(“I am so bad”), show his honor(“I am ashamed of myself”) and so much more…..Why talk about yourself less than you are and allow the devil to harass you with these lies. Even if someone else, told you these lies dismiss them. Sometimes, the devil inspires people to say evil stuff to us to break our spirit and we have to make the choice to guard your heart. God has plans today to restore you and heal your wounded heart. Even if you didn’t get it from your parents or authority figures, God will restore your self-image and send others to help you obtain wholeness and wellness. All you have to do is ask him to help you to see yourself as He sees you and actively make a study of His love.

Begin to tell yourself what God says: “I am a reflection of his beauty, love, goodness, powerfulness, wisdom and greatness.” Once you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are a new creature and you are everything he says you are. You just have to believe it and make a study of it…..
