Vraiment J'adore la musique Zouk et Compas. I really love Zouk and Compas. It seduces and heals the heart and soul--Vraiment Belle,so beautiful. My voice has found it's home and it is with my native language and the Genre of Compas/Zouk. Singing Zouk and Compas resonate with me and awakens my voice. I'm going to sing more and more and do singing video's covering some wonderful and great Compas/Zouk songs--In due time--not too soon, I would like to work with some of my favorite artist/writers/producers to produce an album in French/Creole/English. That would be really super. Tomorrow I will post my first singing video and talking a bit--this first video will just be a sample of my Compas/Zouk voice...much love❤

Zouk is a style of rhythmic music originating from the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique.
Compas is a derivative of the Haitian Méringue, the national music of Haiti that people have been dancing and playing since the 1800s. written as Compas Direct in French, and Kompa or konpa in Haitian Creole. Worldwide, several festivals annually feature Compas music and other aspects of Haitian culture. As a meringue, compas is along rock and roll, salsa, blues, etc. a complete genre. Compas/Zouk is the basic music of many countries in the caribbean such as the French Antilles of Martinique & Guadeloupe; most of the Lesser Antilles like Dominica, Grenada, Nassau bahamas , St. Lucia, etc. known in French Guyana and many African Countries, Meringue-compas is also the basic music of Cape Verde.
